4th ILA/EUROBAT Lead Occupational Exposure Management Workshop

The International Lead Association will host the Fourth Lead Occupational Exposure Management Workshop prior to the 21st International Lead Conference (Pb2019).
This important one-day event, co-hosted by EUROBAT, is designed to inform participants about the latest developments on occupational lead exposure management, and to facilitate an information sharing session through in-depth discussions with fellow EHS professionals.
The sessions are as follows:
- Background briefing on legislation, science and the current performance of the lead and lead battery industry following adoption of the new employee blood lead target of 20mcg/dL
- Best practice sharing from lead producers and companies involved in battery recycling and manufacturing
- Show & Tell on key topics such as engineering controls, use and maintenance of personal protective equipment, housekeeping and cleaning validation and air lead sampling
- Medical professional perspectives on workplace exposure issues
Early registration is recommended to secure a place as the number of workshop participants is limited and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
